Dominion Hospital’s Summer Programs will be providing our school age outpatients a “toolbox” this summer in order to allow children and adolescents the opportunity for greater success this coming school year. A student’s social and emotional health provides the foundation for academic learning, and our interactive summer groups are designed to cultivate appropriate life skills and coping strategies to manage everyday circumstances and stressful life situations.

Groups, activities, interactive videos, and psychoeducational activities in our state-of-the-art computer lab provide opportunities for emotional growth and personal development, and a larger “toolbox” full of skills. The groups and activities are led by trained clinical and expressive therapists, and psychiatric RNs, creating a safe and structured environment in which to learn and grow.
