Visiting a Dominion Hospital Patient
Due to the nature of our hospital, Dominion has very specific visiting hours and procedures. These policies have been designed in the best interest of Dominion Hospital's patients, who always come first. Due to the busy treatment program that patients are involved in, hours are limited. Additionally, there are specific restrictions on who may visit our children's units, and what can be brought to patients. If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to speak with someone from Dominion Hospital. Thank you for your cooperation.

The number of visitors per patient will be limited to two at a time given the constraints of space and rights/needs of all patients on the unit.
Visitors are required to produce the patient identification number and a photo ID before being permitted to visit the unit. Staff will inspect all items brought to the patient.
Outpatient therapists may visit outside of regular visiting times when prior arrangements have been made by the physician. Treatment services may not be provided unless appropriate privileges have been granted by the hospital.
Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent when visiting.
Visitors to the Adolescent and Child units will be limited to immediate family members, clergy and/or significant others of clinical significance to the patient. Immediate family is described as mother, father, sister or brother. A patient's social worker and/or physician will make decisions regarding all visitors in conjunction with the family.
