Richmond, VA, January 13, 2011 – Henrico Doctors’ Hospital will celebrate the opening of its new ER and Heart Center, the next phase of its $100 million expansion, on January 13, 2011, with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Tours from 5 pm – 8 pm. This expansion will add an additional 80,000 sq. feet to the existing footprint of the hospital.

Richmond, VA, July 7, 2010 – The Center for Surgical Innovation at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital broke new ground in robotic surgery by completing seven hysterectomies and one fibroid myomectomy to become the first hospital in the state to complete this many gynecological surgeries in one day on June 29, 2010. Six of the procedures were performed by Dr. Danny Shaban and two of the procedures were performed by Dr. Thomas Mead.
